In this workshop, you will learn the basic process of making a functional lantern suitable for ambient lighting at home. These lanterns are inspired by noodle shops where their presence on the streets signal that noodles are ready to be served.
First part involes a light structure made of of architectural modelling wood that will be joined with a combination of fasteners and glue.
Second part is wrapping the lantern structure with light weight paper that can be imprinted by your favorite noodle shapes, or simply folded to creates a surface texture.
The third part includes basic electrical light bulb assembly: socket, wire, switch, and wall plug.
