Clemens Dirmhirn, Dr.: Average and collective. On Kafka’s ‚Community of rogues‘

Clemens Dirmhirn představí svůj pohled na Kafkovu krátkou prózu Společenství darebáků a poukáže na některé hlavní rysy jeho intertextuální poetiky „přepisování“. Po prezentaci bude následovat neformální diskuze s moderátorem. Clemens Dirmhirn studoval germanistiku a afrikanistiku ve Vídni, Paříži a Berlíně. Nedávno mu vyšla kniha o Kafkových krátkých prózách a komunitních diskurzech. V současné době pracuje na digitálním vydání deníků Maxe Broda.

‍Clemens Dirmhirn presents a close reading of Kafkas short prose Community of rogues and points out some main features of his intertextual poetics of ‚re-writing'. The presentation will be followed by an informal discussion with the moderator and participants. Clemens Dirmhirn studied German philology and African studies in Vienna, Paris and Berlin. His book on Kafka's short prose and community discourses has recently been published. Currently he is working on the digital edition of Max Brod's diaries.
