Charles University is hosting the FameLab competition for the fifth time. This year, it is launching FameLab Academy for the first time, opening the world of science communication to a new generation of talented high school students.
Participants aged 15–19 are tasked with presenting their scientific topic clearly, creatively, and in just three minutes – without the use of presentations or other audiovisual aids.
Ten finalists will be selected from the applications and can look forward to an accredited weekend MasterClass, mentoring from experienced FameLab finalists, networking with experts, and the opportunity to perform on academic grounds. The program develops self-confidence, presentation skills, and the ability to talk about science in a way that everyone can understand.
Do you know talented students who have something to say? Encourage them to participate. And if you are between 15 and 19 years old yourself, submit your three-minute video via the FameLab portal.
