At the Kampus Hybernská you will find several spaces dedicated to the visual arts. Common to them is an interest in social issues and networking. Exhibitions are often accompanied by guided tours, lectures and debates.
HYB4 Galerie consists of two spaces. The smaller C.0 supports emerging artists, the larger A.1 has hosted exhibitions by Milan Kunce, Milan Knížák or LUSTRU.
Students use the unusual spaces of Cellar E or Garage for their exhibitions.
The Artivist Lab hosts exhibitions, discussions, workshops and lectures. Academics, philosophers, sociologists, journalists, artists and activists meet here.
Mushrooms, circularity, Hong Kong neon, and Australian punk. In September, Hybernská will bring together contemporary art, sustainability themes, music, and community programming, and on October 1st, to mark the start of the new semester, the HYB4 Art Studios will open their doors for the first time.
V prvních dvou dílech seriálu jsme vám představili šest tvůrčích cest rezidentstva HYB4 Art Studios. Dnes seriál uzavíráme poslední trojicí: kolektivem tří umělců, textilní umělkyní a umělcem, který ve své tvorbě stírá hranice mezi kresbou, malbou a živou sochou.
V prvním díle našeho seriálu jsme vám představili fotografku, malíře a básnířku z první trojice rezidentstva HYB4 Art Studios. Dnes pokračujeme další trojicí, která je stejně různorodá jako ta první: grafická dílna, umělecký kolektiv „skrytý“ za jednou sdílenou identitou a malířka, která se ve své tvorbě vrací k rodinné paměti.
In the first part of our series, we introduce a trio connected by something perhaps unexpected. Each of them comes from a different background, works with a different medium, and explores different themes. Yet, they all operate in a space where reality begins to blur with imagination, memories, myths, or what remains hidden at first glance.
In C.0 HYB4 Galerie we present works by both established and emerging artists. HYB4 Art Studios in Building A serve as art studios.
