Circular Workshop connects learning, community, creation, art and circular economy. It transforms both old objects and the people who undertake their renovation.
Reduce, reuse, recycle. We all know these principles, but what does it look like in practice? In our Circular workshop, old things get a chance for a new life. In the public workshop, you can repair your furniture or get space for your own projects. Borrow tools and get expert help from a team of experienced craftsmen. We support the idea of reusing materials, small-scale production and craft education.
In addition to working on your own projects, you can take part in regular workshops. In addition, the Circular workshop warehouse has waste materials and semi-finished products available for you to reuse and transform into new objects.
Give your old furniture second chance. We will guide you so you can take home a restored original piece.
You can repair an older musical instrument or make a brand new one. We have already created stringed instruments, cajons, chimes and synthesizers.
Make an original chair at our workshop. You can use leftover material or recycled blanks from our warehouse.
You will learn how to process wood with hand and electric tools and make your own wooden product - for example a coat rack, cutting board or flower box.
Do you have an idea for your own project but you do not have the necessary tools and materials? We will be happy to provide everything you need and help you with its realization.
We also organize workshops for children and schools. We make toys, learn how to use basic tools and describe recycling process.
You can also come to repair your old or broken bike.

V podzimním semestru 2023/2024 jsme v Kampusu Hybernská představili novinku: téma semestru zastřešující celý program, na kterém se podíleli všichni rezidenti sídlící pod naší střechou. Bylo to vůbec poprvé, co u nás takto záměrné a celoplošné propojení vzniklo, a po této pilotní verzi bude pokračovat i v dalším semestru s cílem ukotvit jej v programu nastálo.

Oblíbená Cirkulární dílna, která nabízí workshopy konkrétních DIY dovedností i pomoc s vlastními projekty od zkušených řemeslníků, začala fungovat v srpnu 2018. Vznikala tak spolu s celým Kampusem Hybernská, který byl od počátku závislý na recyklaci a na svépomoci při úpravě prostor. Cirkulární dílna v tomto procesu sehrála významnou roli. Od začátku přitom mohla fungovat i díky významným sponzorským darům (například Pražské služby pomohly výrazně s prvním zařízením dílny).
