The café in the backyard is an integral part of the Kampus Hybernská. The establishment, with stylish recycled furniture, offers a wide range of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and vegan specialties.
The Kampus Café opened after reconstruction in mid-March 2024, this time under the baton of the Hybernská Campus itself. Visitors can enjoy selected coffee from the roastery Coffee Source, savory and sweet treats from a family business Šťastná koza or beer from Zichovec Brewery. In addition, the brewery also created a beer special this year ROBIN 4 HYB to celebrate the new fall season 2025/2026.

The café is proud not only of its offer and unique atmosphere in every season, but also of its original, artistic interior. The furniture is largely renovated and made from recycled materials. Examples include the colorful chairs in the yard or the tables and benches in the interior. Employees of the Circular Workshop and HYB4 Galerie participated in their production.
“When we decided to renovate the café, we thought it would just be cosmetic changes, but then we found out what was wrong with it. We didn't have an architect or a designer, we just consulted a catering company about the technical equipment for the catering operation, which we had properly tendered in advance,” explains the director of the registered institute Kampus Hybernská Ema Pospíšilová. “Of course, we could have presented our ideas to the architect and waited for his ideas, but firstly, we didn't have that much time and secondly, no one knows the space and its needs as well as we do. We had to maintain the café, the passage to the small gallery, the connection to the Čítárna, modify the children's corner and adapt the space so that it could also host larger events,” the director calculates.
In the adjacent rooms there is a Čítárna, where regular cultural events are held, as well as the C.0 HYB4 Galerie where you can visit various exhibitions of contemporary art.
The café also has several children's toys and books for the youngest visitors.

Drinking your own alcohol is prohibited on the premises of the café and in the backyards. If you visit café with a dog, please keep him/her on a leash to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
