The new format focuses on experimentation, current trends and technologies in electronic music and examining the boundaries between sound production and multimedia.

We perceive the richness and diversity of directions in the field of contemporary electronic, ambient, IDM and avant-garde music both at home and abroad. With this series of concerts, we would like to reflect the efforts of artists to explore the boundaries of music and sound design and give these independent creators a platform where they can share their discoveries with the audience,” say producers HYB4 Hudba of Kampus Hybernská Mikuláš Svoboda and Jakub Hřivna.

Due to the globality of this musical genre, each of the series will offer two performers - one domestic and one foreign. “The purpose of this dramaturgical series is mainly to expand the awareness of the Prague music scene in the genre sector and also to discover new names of this genre and help them to establish themselves on the music scene“ says the producer.

Already on the second Saturday in May LOUFR, a solo project by Polish composer Piotr Bednarczyk and lajf - Prague artist Jakub Kučera, who works on the border between hyper-pop and ambient electronics, will be presented from 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, May 22 Swiss duo SOᑭᖇᗩTᙓᖇᖇᗩ and Czech artist Eliška Lubojatzká alias Ashen Foals will perform. By choosing the name Sopraterra, which means “above ground” in Italian, Magda Drozd and Nicola Genovese signal their own position in the act of archaeology and sonic exploration of deep-submerged discoveries. Ashen Foals, in turn, with obscured voices and noise-riddled melodies, creates space for a contemplative dive into a world of memories that never happened.

The june evening will bring an Argentine composer, improviser and pioneer in the field of experimental electronics Javier Areal Vélez.

Taking into account that E.0 Sál at Kampus Hybernská is not a classical music club, but a multifunctional cultural space located in the city center, it is not possible to run music production during night hours. Thus, the series will offer an evening production of music that is traditionally more intended for clubs specializing in electronic dance music. But for us it makes all the more sense to try to get these genres into places that are not their normal domain,” music producers Mikuláš Svoboda and Jakub Hřivna say.
