What happens beneath the surface of our minds? And how does our unconscious influence our daily lives, relationships, and perception of reality?
The HYB4 Galerie Spring Lecture Series, organized to mark the 170th anniversary of the birth of the renowned psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of psychoanalysis from various perspectives, ranging from clinical practice to the visual arts.
We perceive Freud's ideas differently today than in the past, which makes it all the more interesting to see how strongly they still resonate. They influence not only psychology but also the way we think about ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Two lectures in March opened up fundamental questions about contemporary psychoanalysis and the relationship between dreams, reality, and art. They served as a reminder that what we think we know about Freud may only be the beginning.
In April, the series will build on the themes from March. Each lecture offers a different perspective, and together they create a unique space for reflection, sharing, and inspiration.
