HOTEL K. is a collective of actors in the performing, media and visual arts from Prague and Hamburg. It has been working together since 2020, and in 2025 it will present a first performance/video/exhibition at Kampus Hybernská in Prague.
HOTEL K. interprets public space as a platform for performances and artistic interventions: the performers Olga Seehafer and Roman Horák act among people, on the streets, in tunnels and on rooftops - accompanied by live music and a film camera. The performances show a Kafka-inspired world, a Dadaist view of European metropolises. "The rush of work and the noise of public life isolates the people in the big cities. In their search for orientation, they attach themselves to their professions, their fellow human beings or traditional values such as marriage - but remain at an alienated distance from their surroundings and themselves."
The opening and performance will take place on 19. 9. 2025 from 6 p.m. The exhibition will be open in E.-1 until 30. 9. 2025.
Both the performance and the exhibition are part of the program of the Zažít Kampus jinak event, which is taking place on September 20 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The project "HOTEL K Performance/Video/Exhibition" is funded by the German-Czech Future Fund, the BKM Hamburg and Kampus Hybernská.
