Three female artists invite you to immerse yourself in music that blends sound experimentation, electronic music, and ambient music.
Cate Hops is a Berlin based anthropologist, curator and sound artist. Throughout her artistic practice her ideas reflect space as a social practice. Her performances unfold as electro-acoustic experimental sound pieces and ambient scapes. She works with everyday objects, hacked toys, effected voice, and radios which she loops, layers on top of each other and transforms them into an ephemeral sonic space. She is a co-founder of the Fem*noise network and has collaborated with artists such as JD Zazie, Jena Jang, Leila Mnekbi, Mia Zabelka, Munsha and many others. She presented her work on different stages in Europe and at artist residencies in Austria, Estonia, Germany, Senegal, Taiwan, and Tunisia.
