Intercultural Festival RefuFest is aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and coexistence of diverse cultures in accordance with the idea of an open society. The festival opens space for discussion and education in the field of migration, integration, war conflicts, current events in the world and in the Czech Republic.
Its aim is to break down prejudices and promote mutual understanding through music, dance, theatre and gastronomy. Since its beginnings in 2005, it has provided a common platform for refugees, migrants and local residents, creating a space for dialogue and solidarity.
Each year brings not only a rich cultural program, but also discussions on current topics related to migration and integration. The festival features non-profit organizations supporting migrants — both established institutions and initiatives founded by migrants themselves, which bring valuable perspectives and experiences.
Come experience a unique atmosphere, taste food from around the world, enjoy art and meet inspiring people across cultures!
You can find the complete program here. The event will take place at several locations of the Kampus Hybernská.
RefuFest is co-organized by InBáze. Its mission is to help migrant women and migrants and their families in life in the Czech Republic. It creates a safe and open space of knowledge and understanding.
