Upcycling Tuesday:Dyeing Fabric with Plants
—Walnuts, nettles, or elderberries—all of these plants make excellent dyes. All you have to do is gather them, boil them, and know how to apply the dye to the fabric so the color sets. Minimal environmental impact, maximum joy. Everything you need will be provided; just bring a piece of cotton or linen fabric or clothing that you’d like to try dyeing.
