Arleta
is one of the most prominent representatives of the female rap scene. The rapper and visual artist, nominated for both Vinyl and Apollo awards, brings her dark vision that manages to be personal, self-therapeutic, and playful and hot at the same time. As a contrast to generic masculine rap, she infuses strong contemporary generational themes and comments on social taboos into her lyrics with an unmistakable dark expression.
Her collaboration with artists such as Hugo Toxxx, BADBOY BERLIN, YEEZUZ2020, Fvck Kvlt, Rohony, Edúv syn and even David Koller is notable. Instrumentally, he primarily works with producer called MDMX.
She actively performs live in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. (Colours Of Ostrava, Metronom Prague, BUSH, Transforma and many others) Among her live performances we can include, for example, support for Sega Bodega or Gaika. Now, she is preparing a debut album, expected in autumn 2024.
She just released her debut album Toxic Rodeo.
The live concert follows a recorded concert by Studio Mr. Wombat, which came out on October 20. Arleta played several tracks from her country-rap album TOXIC RODEO in a very specific location in Kampus Hybernská. She will perform these and other tracks live to the audience on October 31 in E.0 Sál, where she will be accompanied by yeezuz2020 with their set. It is the combination of a recorded concert and then a live concert in a music hall that is a new format fo the Wombat Live Sessions 2025, which connects the Czech alternative scene with a new generation of creators.
Yeezuz2020
is a rapper and musician originally from Znojmo, who came to prominence with his debut album Exodus, which was also hosted by Estonian icon Tommy Cash. From the Czech scene, he collaborated with top artists such as Hugo Toxxx, Yzomandias and Rohony. All of his albums were produced by Mdmx.
