Curated series of music evenings focusing on experimentation, current trends and technologies in electronic music and examining the boundaries between sound production and multimedia. LOUFR and lajf will be the first to be introduced in the series.

LOUFR

LOUFR is a solo project by Polish composer Piotr Bednarczyk. His work focuses on intermedia chamber and electronic music, exploring the spaces of sound design and searching for sounds and structures that are characterized by subjective, strong physical and emotional impact. The non-musical content woven into his compositions revolves around global changes that inevitably lead to the collapse of the world.

lajf

He deals with sound as a space for thinking and questioning conventional ways of perception. In his sound essays he explores how listening is transformed through working with frequencies, silence or changes of place. He looks for ways to activate the collective experience of listening and open up new sites of understanding through physicality, space and the disruption of expectations.
