HYB4 Hudba: «ššš:um»

Curated series of music evenings focusing on experimentation, current trends and technologies in electronic music and examining the boundaries between sound production and multimedia.

We perceive the richness and diversity of directions in the field of contemporary electronic, ambient, IDM and avant-garde music both at home and abroad. With this series of concerts, we would like to reflect the efforts of artists to explore the boundaries of music and sound design and give these independent creators a platform where they can share their discoveries with the audience.

We also reflect the globality of this other, bold music and therefore we will always offer two performers to the audience. One from the Czech Republic and one from abroad. The purpose of this dramaturgical series is primarily to expand the awareness of the Prague music scene in this genre sector and also to discover new names of this genre and help them establish themselves on the music scene.

Taking into account that E.0 Sál in Kampus Hybernská is not a classical music club, but a multifunctional cultural space located in the city center, it is not possible to run music production during night hours. Thus, the series will offer an evening production of music that is traditionally more intended for clubs specializing in electronic dance music. But it makes all the more sense for us to get these genres into places that are not their usual domain.
