Seven people. Seven analogue film cameras. Everyday life with endometriosis. Through the photovoice method, patients draw us into their daily lives—into the intimate space of pain, fatigue, uncertainty, and resilience. The photographic project captures small moments of the day as well as strategies of survival and care that often remain invisible.
As part of the Month of Reproductive Justice, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition, which will take place on March 20 at 18:00 in the outdoor space B.0 (garage) at Kampus Hybernská. The exhibition will be on display until April 2.
After the opening, we will move to Hall B.1, where there will be a screening of the film Děloha+, which is based on this photographic project, followed by a shared discussion.
The discussion will open up the topic of the connections between endometriosis and reproductive justice, and will offer space for sharing experiences as well as imagining new ways of talking about endometriosis—how to make it more visible, how to share it, and how to understand it not only as an individual health experience but also as a socially relevant issue.
The film has Czech and English subtitles, and the discussion will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech Sign Language (ČZJ).
