In the first part of our series, we introduce a trio connected by something perhaps unexpected. Each of them comes from a different background, works with a different medium, and explores different themes. Yet, they all operate in a space where reality begins to blur with imagination, memories, myths, or what remains hidden at first glance.
What do a rapper paying tribute to a late beatmaker, a Slovak multi-instrumentalist awarded by an international jazz jury, and a painter who compares his canvases to a Balkan disco have in common? All three met at Kampus Hybernská in the first half of 2026. And that was just the beginning. The HYB4 Gallery took home the 2025 VIZIUM award, four exhibitions rotated through C.0, and Kampus opened its own art studios for the first time. Welcome to the centre of culture, innovation, art, science and education in the heart of Prague! Kampus Hybernská is a joint project between the City of Prague and the Charles University aimed at exploring new ways of cooperation. Students, artists, scientists, researchers, innovators, and the general public meet here to enrich each other and form new relations and projects, or just to enjoy the cultural program.
Open call na nový rezidenční program HYB4 Art Studios vzbudil velký zájem. Přihlásilo se sedmadvacet jednotlivců a kolektivů napříč různými uměleckými obory. Od vizuálního umění přes audiovizuální a performativní tvorbu až po experimentální projekty na pomezí médií. Odborná komise vybrala devět, jejichž práce přesvědčila kvalitou, originalitou i jasností uměleckého záměru.
Univerzita Karlova již po páté realizuje soutěž FameLab. Tento rok poprvé spouští FameLab Academy, který otevírá svět vědecké komunikace nové generaci talentovaných středoškoláků.
Didaktikon is a popularization and educational center of the Charles University, which was created in cooperation with Kampus Hybernská and the capital city of Prague. This is a place designed for all who are interested in an informal approach to education.
